About Phillips County Court Records

Court records in Phillips County, Colorado are split between Phillips Combined Court, the Colorado Judicial Branch, the Phillips County Clerk and Recorder, the Sheriff's Office, and statewide agencies such as CBI, DMV, DOC, and VINE. This site organizes those public record paths so visitors can identify the right office, portal, address, phone number, or request form before contacting a government custodian.

Why We Built This Site

Colorado gives the public several ways to reach court and county records, but Phillips County users have to separate similar names and different custodians. The Clerk of Court at Phillips Combined Court handles case files, dockets, divorce decrees, probate filings, criminal dispositions, traffic tickets, and certified court copies. The Phillips County Clerk and Recorder handles marriage licenses, recorded documents, elections, motor vehicle services, county commissioner records, and county CORA requests. The Sheriff's Office handles law-enforcement records, while CBI handles official Colorado criminal-history checks. This site brings those paths into one county-focused reference.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Colorado court, Phillips County office, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. A Phillips County court document has to come from Phillips Combined Court or the Colorado Judicial Branch, while a recorded county document has to come from the county recorder.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and partner tools are not substitutes for official Phillips County or Colorado Judicial Branch records.
